How do I book an RV?

Browse our fleet on the Fleet page, find the RV that fits your trip, and click "Book Now." You'll be taken to our Wheelbase booking platform where you can select your dates, add-ons, and complete secure payment. You'll receive an instant confirmation email.

Question 2

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks in advance, especially for peak summer weekends, holidays, and spring break. Last-minute availability does happen — check Wheelbase for open dates.

Question 3

Can I modify or cancel my reservation?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Log into your Wheelbase account to modify dates or cancel. Cancellation policies vary by listing — review the policy on your booking confirmation. For help, contact us at info@txrv-rentals.com or (832) 853-3505.

Question 4

Is a deposit required?

Yes, a deposit is collected at the time of booking through Wheelbase. The remaining balance is typically due before your pickup date. Full details are shown during checkout.

Question 5

Can I book through RVshare instead of Wheelbase?

Yes! Our fleet is also listed on RVshare. You can book through either platform — both offer secure payment and booking protection.

Question 6

Where do I pick up the RV?

Accepted Answer

Pickup locations are listed on each individual RV listing on Wheelbase. We have multiple locations across Texas. The exact address and directions will be included in your booking confirmation.

Question 7

What time is pickup and drop-off?

Standard pickup is between 9am–12pm and drop-off by 12pm (noon) on your return date. Early pickup or late drop-off may be available for an additional fee — contact us in advance to arrange.

Question 8

What do I need to bring at pickup?

Bring a valid driver's license, the credit card used for booking, and your booking confirmation. All drivers must be present and show valid ID. We'll do a full walkthrough of the RV with you before departure.

Do you offer delivery or setup at a campsite?

Delivery and campsite setup may be available for select RVs and locations. Contact us at info@txrv-rentals.com before booking to discuss options and pricing.

Question 10

What are the driver requirements?

All drivers must be at least 25 years old and hold a valid US driver's license. A clean driving record is required. International licenses may be accepted — contact us to confirm before booking.

Do I need a special license to drive an RV?

No special license is required for any of our Class A, Class C, or travel trailer rentals. A standard driver's license is sufficient for all vehicles in our fleet.

Are pets allowed?

Some of our RVs are pet-friendly! Look for the "Pet Friendly" badge on the fleet page. A pet fee applies and must be disclosed at booking. Undisclosed pets may result in additional cleaning charges.

Is there a mileage limit?

Mileage policies vary by RV. Each listing on Wheelbase shows the included mileage and the per-mile overage rate. Review the listing details before booking.

Question 14

What happens if something breaks down on the road?

Roadside assistance is provided through your booking platform — Wheelbase or RVshare — depending on where you made your reservation. Your booking confirmation includes the 24/7 roadside assistance contact number. In the event of a breakdown, refer to your confirmation email and contact the platform directly. Do not attempt repairs yourself.

What is included with the rental?

Each RV comes stocked with standard kitchen equipment, linens, and basic supplies. Specific inclusions are listed on each Wheelbase listing. Generator use, propane, and campsite fees are typically the renter's responsibility.

Can I take the RV out of Texas?

Out-of-state travel may be permitted depending on the RV. You must request approval before your trip — unauthorized out-of-state travel may void your rental agreement. Contact us at info@txrv-rentals.com to discuss.

What is the smoking policy?

All of our RVs are strictly non-smoking. Smoking inside any RV will result in a deep-cleaning fee of up to $500.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept all major credit and debit cards through the Wheelbase and RVshare booking platforms. Cash payments are not accepted.

Is insurance included?

Accepted Answer

Basic liability coverage is included through the booking platform. We strongly recommend purchasing the additional damage protection offered at checkout. Your personal auto insurance may not cover RV rentals — check with your provider.

Question 20

Is there a security deposit?

Accepted Answer

Yes, a refundable security deposit is held at pickup. The amount varies by RV and is listed on the Wheelbase booking page. Deposits are released within 5–7 business days after a clean return.
